Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has moved! We relocated from 1516 Moorings Drive Reston, Virginia to 1133 Reston Avenue in Herndon Virginia on April 7, 2008.    We invite you to join our Christian community shaped and guided by faith in Jesus Christ, as the embodiment of God's forgiving love.  

Our mission is to bring more and more people into harmony with God, with one another, and with themselves, through proclamation of the Word of God, administration of the Sacraments, and the personal demonstration of God's love. 

We seek to help every member to discover their unique calling in life, so that they may invest themselves in meaningful service in the Church, at work, at school, at home, and in the community.

We have an active Sunday Education program which includes numerous groups for adults. The high school class is for grades 9-12. Junior High students (grades 7 & 8) are part of the Confirmation program. The children's program is designed around activity centers, by grade level.

Our Preschool, established in 1981, has a daily program of Christian education for young children, addressing their complete developmental needs. In an informal, loving atmosphere, learning centers and discovery activities build foundations for future academic growth. We have half-day programs for children, ages 2 3/4 through 5 years of age.
