Services

shepimage.jpg Lutheran worship employs the liturgy of the Church.

Members participate in the service in many roles as greeters, singers, musicians, acolytes, ushers, readers, prayer leaders, communion assistants, and as part of the altar guild. The church office, at the direction of the Worship Board, schedules these responsibilities.

Worship Services

Services are held Sundays at 8:00 am & 11:00 am. In the traditional services, we employ the historic liturgy and sing a combination of hymns, old and new.

Contemporary Services are held the second Sunday of the month at the 11 am service. In this service we use a modified liturgy and sing contemporary Christian music.

Matins Service is held on the second Sunday of the month at the 8 am service. This is a traditional Lutheran service.

Special Services are held on Thanksgiving, on Christmas Eve, during the season of Lent, and as circumstances suggest, such as in time of national emergency.
